How does Synergy EasyDeposit work?
Synergy EasyDeposit is a service that allows all internet banking customers to make deposits from home. All you need is a flatbed scanner (see exact system requirements below).
How do I sign up?
It's easy! You first have to be an Internet Banking customer. Once you log in to internet banking, you will need to click on the "Other Services" menu button. Then, click on the "Remote Capture" link on the left-hand side of the page. There is a short enrollment form to complete. Once that is submitted, you will be setup and notified via e-mail within 2 business days.
When is my money available for use?
Deposits made before 5:00 p.m. CT will generally be available next business day.
I deposited money into the wrong account, what should I do?
You can log into internet banking and transfer funds from one account to another. The funds will be available immediately after the transfer is submitted.
Can I use Synergy EasyDeposit to add money to my CD’s?
No, unfortunately Synergy EasyDeposit is only available for checking and savings accounts.
Can I deposit Canadian checks or other foreign checks through Synergy EasyDeposit?
No, only domestic checks are approved and accepted through Synergy EasyDeposit.
What should I do with the check after I scan it for deposit?
Once the check is successfully scanned and submitted for deposit, we recommend writing ‘void’ on the check and keeping the check in a secure location for at least 90 days. After 90 days, we recommend shredding the voided checks.
What do I do if I can’t get Synergy EasyDeposit to work?
The first thing to do is restart you computer and try again. If that does not fix the problem, please email us at EasyDeposit@franklinsynergy.com or call us at 615-236-4674.

- Windows 2000 Professional SP6, XP SP2, Vista, MAC OSX 10.4 and above
