Williamson County business and community leaders to apply for a Tennessee state bank charter

Franklin, TN - May 13, 2007 - A group of local business and community leaders will file an application for a Tennessee state bank charter with the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions, according to Paul M. Pratt, Jr, a spokesman for the group. The proposed name of the Franklin-based bank is Franklin Synergy Bank.


"We want to build the kind of bank our community deserves," said Pratt. In addition to Pratt, Vice President of Full Service Insurance, organizers of the new bank include Dr. David H. Kemp, Kemp Orthodontics, Henry W. Brockman, private investor, William W. Harlin, Harlinsdale Farms Co., Scott D. McWilliams, President of Ozburn-Hessey Logistics and Saul Komisar, President of Protherics Inc.
