Franklin Synergy Bank promotes Jeff Smith to Senior Vice President

JeffSmith.jpgFranklin, TN - July 8, 2014 - Franklin Synergy Bank has announced the promotion of longtime community banker Jeff Smith to Senior Vice President. The promotion was announced Tuesday by Franklin Synergy Bank Chairman and CEO Richard Herrington.

“Jeff has been an integral part of the success of several local banks in addition to Franklin Synergy Bank, notably, Franklin National Bank and Cumberland Bank,” said Herrington. “Jeff was part of the team that got our Berry Farm’s branch off to a great start. We are very pleased to recognize his many contributions to banking as well as to our community through service in local organizations.”

Smith joined Franklin Synergy Bank in August 2010 after a banking career that began at Williamson County Bank and includes service at Franklin National Bank, Cumberland Bank and GreenBank, all in Williamson County. He is a Franklin native and a graduate of Page High School. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University. Smith is a Past President of the Franklin Breakfast Rotary Club and has also previously served as Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. He is also active in the Williamson County Chamber of Commerce and Leadership Franklin.
