MichaelEckhart.jpgFranklin, TN - September 3, 2009 - Mortgage Banker Michael Eckhart has joined Franklin Synergy Bank as a Mortgage Loan Officer. The appointment was announced Thursday by Franklin Synergy Bank President Richard Herrington.

Eckhart was named the top mortgage loan producer by the Nashville Mortgage Bankers Association for the last several years. He has more than 12 years of mortgage origination experience and he joins Franklin Synergy Bank from Mortgage Investors Group in Nashville, where he held the position of Mortgage Loan Officer.

"We're delighted to have Michael with us," Herrington said. “Middle Tennessee is a busy mortgage market; customers have lots of questions about refinancing and purchasing real estate. As a top producer, Michael brings significant mortgage expertise to Franklin Synergy; our customers will benefit from that. Some of the larger banks have cut back their mortgage lending, but Franklin Synergy Bank is open for business.”

Eckhart has started work at Franklin Synergy Bank; he will be based at the Woodmere office Building at 3325 Aspen Grove Drive, Suite 104 in Franklin. He began his career in mortgage lending at Southeastern Mortgage in Nashville, remaining with the company after it was purchased by National Bank of Commerce and then SunTrust Bank. Eckhart is a member of the Nashville Mortgage Bankers Association and served as a Sergeant E-5 with the United States Marine Corp based in San Diego, California.

“I am proud to be part of an organization that takes such great care of its customers,” noted Eckhart. “Franklin Synergy Bank cares about the kind of experience their customers have at the bank and they care about their employees. The opportunity to provide that kind of atmosphere and attention was my primary motivation in joining Franklin Synergy Bank.”
