Carolyn Swearingen Joins New Franklin Synergy Office in Brentwood

CarolynSwearingen.jpgFranklin, TN - January 3, 2011 - Carolyn Swearingen has joined Franklin Synergy Bank as a Customer Service Representative in the newly opened Brentwood office. Swearingen’s appointment was announced Monday by Franklin Synergy Bank President Richard Herrington. The Brentwood office opened on January 3, 2011 at 4930 Thoroughbred Lane. Swearingen joins Franklin Synergy bankers Kay Waller, Debbie Marlin and Mortgage Banker Stephen Roadman in the Brentwood office.

Swearingen joins Franklin Synergy after banking career that began at First National Bank of Toledo in Toledo, Illinois. Her 40 year career includes service at Pinnacle Financial Partners, PrimeTrust Bank, Cumberland Bank and The Bank of Brentwood. In addition, Swearingen served two terms as the President of the Illinois Federation of Bankers Association, covering Cumberland, Douglas and Coles Counties.

Franklin Synergy Bank opened its first branch in November 2007 in Cool Springs and earned its first profit in the first quarter of 2009. The bank reached $100 million in deposits in October 2008, the same month Franklin Synergy opened a branch in the Bennett House in downtown Franklin. The bank reached $200 million in deposits in July of 2009 and topped $300 million in December 2010. The Downtown Franklin headquarters and branch opened on Columbia Avenue on May 17, 2010 (the Bennett House branch was closed). An office in Brentwood opened in January 2011.
