DuBois has extensive financial planning experience, and joins Franklin Synergy from VALIC in Brentwood, where he served as a financial planner to employees and families associated with Vanderbilt University and Medical Center.

DuBois, whose appointment was announced Tuesday by Franklin Synergy Bank President Richard Herrington, will be based in the bank’s Cool Springs branch on Aspen Grove Drive. In a banking career that spans more than twenty five years, he has held roles at AmSouth Bank, U.S.Bank and Fifth Third Bank. He is a graduate of the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. In addition to his CFP® credential, DuBois is also a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor, holding Series 7, Series 24 and Series 63 Securities licenses.

"I listen carefully to a client’s goals prior to educating them on investment options and developing a solid strategy. Franklin Synergy offers the same approach, listening to customers to fully understand their financial needs," noted DuBois.

DuBois’ commitment to community services matches that of the bank. He supports the Red Cross Blood Drive through his church. In addition, he is a long-time volunteer with the Harpeth River Watershed Association.

"Dan is a great fit with our new Investment Management Division," commented Herrington. "He has every financial planning credential available, and we’re delighted to offer his financial planning services to our customers. He is committed to helping customers achieve their financial goals."
