Mortgage Banker Melissa Boudreaux Joins Franklin Synergy Bank

MelissaBoudreaux.jpgFranklin, TN - November 23, 2011 - Mortgage Banker Melissa Boudreaux has joined the Franklin Synergy Bank team. Boudreaux’ appointment as Mortgage Loan Originator was announced Wednesday by Franklin Synergy Bank President Richard Herrington. Boudreaux will be located at Franklin Synergy’s Brentwood mortgage office in the Synergy Business Park. She joins Franklin Synergy after a mortgage career that began at Countrywide Home Loans in Nashville and includes service at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in Franklin.

"Melissa is a great fit with our mortgage team and our bank family," commented Herrington. "Her experience will be beneficial to our customers. Melissa joins a very strong mortgage banking team at Franklin Synergy; while other banks have cut back on their lending, we are actively seeking mortgage banking opportunities."

In a career spanning ten years, Boudreaux has closed more than $350 million in personal volume and is the recipient of numerous mortgage banking awards. She attended The University of Missouri on a full basketball scholarship and received a B.A. in Accounting from Belmont University in 2002.

Franklin Synergy Bank opened its first branch in November 2007 in Cool Springs and earned its first profit in the first quarter of 2009. The bank reached $100 million in deposits in October 2008, the same month Franklin Synergy opened a branch in the Bennett House in downtown Franklin. The bank reached $200 million in deposits in July of 2009 and topped $300 million in December 2010. A new Downtown Franklin headquarters and branch opened on Columbia Avenue on May 17, 2010.
