August 2011 E-News Bulletin

Dear Friends,

"Every one of us gets through tough times because somebody is there, standing in the gap to close it for us.”
-  Oprah Winfrey

The stock market goes down 500+ points.  Next, the stock market is up 500+ points.  Then, down.  Interest rates tumble, and then partially recover.  These are signs of our unusual economic times.  It’s difficult to find a constant in ever changing times.

But one thing is certain: Franklin Synergy Bank is your local, hometown bank in Williamson and surrounding counties.  We are here ready to lend money, to handle your unique deposit transaction needs, to offer advice and counsel as your financial partner, to be your bank.

In less than four years, we have grown from a dream to a vibrant bank with over $360 million in assets.  We are now the twelfth largest bank in Middle Tennessee.  And we want to grow more!

We are adapting to the changing needs of our valued customers.  This month, we began paying interest on business checking accounts.  We want to help you maximize funds by earning interest on your accounts.  As of the end of July, banks are allowed to pay interest on business checking accounts.  We want to make our customers more profitable.  Ask your FSB Banker about this new feature. Business banking is important to us.

Another change: we have two new apps for your iPhone and/or iPad that will make banking with Franklin Synergy Bank even easier.  You can now do all kinds of banking transactions, including making deposits with our Synergy Easy Deposit app when you want to, not just when we’re open. We are truly open 24 hours a day, seven days a week from your laptop computer or from many mobile devices.

A common remark today is, “Banks are willing to lend you money as long as you don’t need it.”  That’s not true at Franklin Synergy Bank.  Whether your request is for expanding your business, purchasing a new home, or refinancing your existing mortgage, we are ready to lend.

We have been a truly successful new bank since we opened in November 2007.  Our success is the result of the loyalty and patronage of our friends, neighbors, and customers.  Thank you for your support.  Let us do more for you.  Call your FSB Banker to see how else we can serve you.

Interested in growing your business? An SBA Loan may be the right business banking product for you!

Franklin Synergy Bank is proud to offer our business customers some of the most beneficial banking products in middle Tennessee, including loans backed by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

SBA loans may be utilized for:

  • Commercial real estate acquisition
  • Equipment
  • Short and long-term working capital
  • Business Acquisitions
  • Franchise Financing
  • Debt Refinance for any of the above uses

The vast majority of small businesses are eligible for SBA financing and loans of up to $13,750,000. SBA loans carry both fixed and floating long-term rates that are below market interest rates.

Did you know that SBA guaranteed loans:

  • Require low equity contribution requirements (as low as 10%) which preserves precious working capital in your business
  • Have longer amortizations than conventional financing to minimize monthly payments for a growing business
  • Are fully amortized and do not balloon every 1-5 years, reducing the cost, inconvenience and uncertainty of continuous refinancing
  • Provide a fixed rate option for owner occupied commercial real estate as long as 20-25 years

Franklin Synergy Bank has experienced bankers who will analyze the specific needs of your growing business and recommend the right SBA loan product. Our bankers will make the SBA process efficient and easy.
