 The bank will support the Heritage Foundation’s events and preservation efforts with 5-year agreement

 FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Franklin Synergy Bank has signed on as the presenting sponsor of the Heritage Foundation’s 50th anniversary celebration on Nov. 12, in addition to a five-year sponsorship agreement with the non-profit organization. Franklin Synergy celebrates ten years in business this year, which coincides with the Heritage Foundation’s 50-year milestone.

“Franklin Synergy Bank has already been a great partner to the Heritage Foundation, and we are grateful for their continued support over the next five years. Under Richard Herrington’s leadership, Franklin Synergy will support our efforts for preservation projects throughout Williamson County,” said Bari Beasley, CEO of the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County, Tenn. “We are excited to see the growth in this important partnership, and we thank the Synergy team for helping continue our mission.”

Franklin Synergy Bank’s financial support will further preservation efforts and events produced by the Heritage Foundation. In addition to their five-year partnership agreement, Franklin Synergy will present the 50th anniversary celebration on Sunday, Nov. 12 at the Franklin Theatre, which celebrates the organization’s rich history and bright future.

Franklin Synergy Bank has promoted local Commercial Banker Will Powell to Vice President.

Will PowellFranklin Synergy Bank Chairman and CEO Richard Herrington announced the promotion Monday.

Powell joined the downtown Franklin banking team in 2011. He is a Franklin native, a graduate of Battle Ground Academy and The University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS.

Powell is a 2014 graduate of Leadership Franklin and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Leadership Franklin and Youth Leadership Franklin. He is also a Board Member of Franklin Tomorrow.
